OB-GYN screening services
First Trimester Dating/Growth Scan*
This ultrasound is typically done between 4–9 weeks of pregnancy using a transvaginal approach, and between 10–13 weeks using a transabdominal scan. During the exam, we look at the baby’s position, heartbeat, and early growth measurements, as well as the gestational sac and placenta (after 10 weeks). The goal is to gently check in on early development and provide clear, helpful information in a comfortable setting. Duration: 30 min.
Second Trimester Growth Scan*
This ultrasound is typically done between 14 and 26 weeks of pregnancy and is performed over the belly. During the scan, we check the baby’s position, heartbeat, growth, and estimated weight, along with the cervix, placenta, and amniotic fluid levels. The exam includes several gentle measurements to help track healthy development and provide a clear picture of how baby is growing. Duration: 45 min.
Anatomy Scan - Second Trimester*
This detailed ultrasound is typically done between 19 and 24 weeks of pregnancy and is performed over the belly. During the scan, we take a close look at baby’s growth, position, spine, heart, brain, and other developing organs, along with the placenta, umbilical cord, and fluid levels. You’ll also go home with a USB containing images of baby’s sweet face, tiny hands, and adorable feet as a keepsake from the appointment. Duration: 60 min.
Third Trimester Growth Scan*
This late-pregnancy ultrasound is typically done between 27 weeks and full term and is performed over the belly. During the scan, we check baby’s position, heartbeat, and growth, along with the cervix and placenta. Gentle measurements help estimate baby’s size and support informed planning as you move closer to birth.
Biophysical Profile Ultrasound
This ultrasound is typically done toward the end of the third trimester and focuses on how baby is moving and practicing important skills. During the scan, we look at things like breathing movements, arm and leg motion, and bigger movements such as kicks or stretches, along with checking fluid levels. The exam follows a simple scoring system that helps assess overall well-being. If you need this ultrasound completed within a specific timeframe, please email contact@longevityultrasound.com or call 540-216-2023—we’ll work with you to find the right date and location. No deposit is required to schedule. Duration: 45 min.
